Rio Branco City Hall installs free internet point at Ipê Park

The mayor of Rio Branco, Tião Bocalom celebrated this Saturday (12), the installation of a free internet point in Ipê Park, which serves as entertainment and leisure for friends and families of the Acrean capital.

According to the manager, the action is part of the Conecta Rio Branco program, which provides digital connectivity in other strategic points of the city such as Revolution Square, Urban Terminal, among others.

“Now it’s time for one of the largest outdoor spaces for walking and physical activities to receive this modern structure, benefiting hundreds of people every day. This is another stage of our project of modernization and digital inclusion, started in 2021, when I assumed the municipal management, committed to bringing Rio Branco to the future,” said the mayor.

Bocalom congratulated the Municipal Secretary for Economic Development, Tourism, Technology and Innovation (SDTI) Ezequiel Bino for the initiative and the presence of the mayor Joabe Lira and Marcio Mustafa for his support. “We will continue to connect our people, strengthening the freedom of access to information and taking care of every corner of the city,” he said.
