Salad with celery It has a great green color, and it surprises with fresh taste and exceptional crunchiness. Such a salad is a decent portion of dietary fiberwhich works great for digestion, and also makes us feel full longer. Add pickled cucumbers and chives to the Chinese cabbage and celery, which will turn up the taste of salad. Pumpkin seeds will also be great here. The salad will go well with Sunday dinner, you can also serve it for grilled dishes.
To prepare the salad, you will need:
- 4 branches of celery,
- ½ small Chinese cabbage,
- 2 pickled cucumbers,
- 1 bunch of chives,
- 1 shallot,
- Optionally, a handful of pumpkin seeds.
Ingredients for sauce:
- 4 tablespoons of olive oil,
- 1 tablespoon of wine vinegar,
- Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste.
Chop the Chinese cabbage finely. Wash the celery and cut into thin slices (across the stem). Cut the pickled cucumbers into small cubes or semi -slices. Peel the shallot and chop finely. Wash and chop the chives finely.
In a small bowl, mix olive oil with wine vinegar, season with salt and pepper. You can lightly beat with a fork so that the sauce combines.
Put all prepared vegetables to a large bowl. Optionally, add pumpkin seeds now. Pour the sauce and thoroughly, but gently mix so that the cabbage softens slightly, and the flavors combine.
Serve immediately or after cooling in the fridge for 15-20 minutes
