Despair and anger. Exactly such feelings were mixed in the Slovaks who were stuck on Saturday at Larnaka Airport in Cyprus. Holidaymakers were supposed to be transported home by an aircraft from Košice, but the weather was supposed to bear. Angry passengers claim that the aircraft hit the lightning and therefore did not start. The portal informed about the night sea of holidaymakers.
The machine was supposed to fly from Košice Airport on Saturday around lunch and the return was scheduled at 18.55 pm local time. But the passengers waited for hours for a flight home. According to one Slovak, the delegates knew about the whole situation, but they did not provide them with any information. “The delegates knew about everything, left us at the airport themselves, we stuck here, no one gives us any information whether they would send us a replacement aircraft,“The passenger said.
“Nobody knows anything, no one wants to communicate with us, there are small children,” another passenger described. Desperate holidaymakers also tried to contact travel agencies, which also did not produce the result. They claimed that no one wanted to communicate with them. They managed to fly from Larnaka on Sunday in the early morning.
