The best 2025 electric inflator
Our expert has chosen the Bosch Easypump inflator for its speed of inflation and for the autonomy of its battery.
Assembly has become an activity chosen by many people, either to move around the city or as a sport. According to the bicycle barometer in Spain 2024, almost a quarter of the population uses the bicycle weekly (22.8%) and almost half (48.2%) use it on occasion. However, to make a safe use of it, different aspects must be taken into account, such as the maintenance of the pieces or the state of the wheels. For the latter, electric inflators are very helpful.
With them, a wheel can be inflated in seconds and without any effort. They usually work very simple: the air hose is placed in the wheel valve, a pressure is indicated (the recommended one according to the bicycle model) and is automatically put into operation. Once inflated, the device goes out.
How we have chosen and tested the products
The models of electric inflators selected in this comparison have tested them with a mid-low-end bike with which short sections have been traveled through the city and a long route through the mountain within 15 days.
In all cases, before starting the air filling process we have completely emptied the wheels, so that I have proven how long they are ready to use again: the manufacturer recommends a pressure of approximately two bars for each wheel. So and, to get the most out of them, I had the following characteristics into account:
- Size and weight. If it is possible to transport it in a backpack, keep it without occupying too much space, if it is folding …
- Inflation time. At what speed inflates the wheels.
- Battery. How long can be used without loading it.
- Other elements. If you have more remarkable and useful characteristics, such as LED lights, different inflation modes, if they are adaptable to car or motorcycle wheels …
10 liters/minute: Bosch Easypump bicycle electric inflator

Who is it for: For those looking for a simple and practical inflator.
Why do we recommend it: This inflator is small and light, so it is very comfortable to carry it on. It has a digital, small screen, and a button with which to adjust the pressure level (it also offers the option of selecting the preset and has three types: psi, bar, kPa).
All adapters that come for different types of valves can be stored in the same device, since it has a cover at the bottom that slides and opens. As data to highlight, it includes another brand adapter that is placed between the hose and the tip Chosen that allows inflating the wheels without losing any air.
The hose measures 24 centimeters so while the wheels are inflated, you have to be crouched by holding the device. To put it into operation you just have to press the large and red button.
During the tests, the two -wheeled inflation process was quite fast (in less than two minutes they were ready, although time depends on whether the wheels need more or less air). Although it is not an extremely small inflator, it can be carried on top, in a normal backpack, without any problem and the fact that the valves and adapters can be stored in the same device is a plus, especially if you go out with other people who have different wheels.
For its part, the battery, 3,000 mAh, offers good autonomy and even inflating the wheels a couple of times in one of the outputs we made (since one of them was not right) was not downloaded at any time. It also has automatic shutdown.
Your weak points: It has a slightly high price.

80 dB: Xiaomi Bicycle Electric Electric Air Compressor 2 Bicycle Inflator

Who is it for: for those looking for a quick inflator and with pre -established ways.
Why do we recommend it: The second generation of the inflator of this brand promises to be 25% faster than the first model. Its battery, of 2,000 mAh, takes 3 hours to load completely (with type C cargo port) and admits up to 10.3 bars. It has a fast connection air valve adapter that is very comfortable to connect it to any wheel type (although it also includes other accessories).
On my bike he adapted to the first, without the need to comply with it. What I like most about this model is that it has 6 modes with preset pressures (manual, bicycle, motorcycle, car, electric scooter and ball), so you don’t have to worry about indicating the pressure.
During the tests, I chose the bike mode and in less than minute and a half they were already fully inflated, stopping automatically. This is very comfortable because you don’t have to be pending while inflating the wheels.
Nor is it very noisy, although it is better not to use it when there is a lot of silence at home. The hard battery perfectly loaded for several days (if only used to inflate a wheel type). It has a load indicator on four levels and for days did not fall from the third level (three lines). It also has integrated light that is very useful for using it in a dark environment or at night.
Your weak points: It is a bit noisy.

93 grams: Airbank Pocket Bicycle Electric Inflator

Who is it for: for those looking for a very compact infactor for road bikes.
Why do we recommend it: This model is the most compact and economical of the comparative. It only weighs 93 grams and can be stored in the pants pocket (or jersey) without any problem. It is the same size as the case of wireless headphones.
It offers a maximum air pressure of 100 psi and a 12 -liter/minute flow so, at the time of the tests, the two wheels of the bicycle, which were a bit deflated for not having taken it for a few days, inflamed in about two minutes. Keep in mind that it only serves for road bicycles, so I tried it with my partner’s bike.
The operation is very simple: you just have to press a couple of times to begin to inflate and again to stop. The adapter is compatible with Schrader and Presta valves, which are the most used in wheels of this type of bicycles.
The battery has a minor autonomy than the rest of the models (300 mAh) and is completely charged in 20 minutes, so this aspect must be taken into account. It runs out more quickly if you have to inflate several wheels continuously.
Your weak points: The battery has little autonomy so you have to take it into account when using it away from home. In addition, it only serves road bicycles.

USB-C: Bicycle electric wave

Who is it for: For those looking for a light and small inflator.
Why do we recommend it: It is also a very compact and light model (108 grams). It is square and its ergonomics is comfortable to inflate the wheels for a few minutes. It reaches a maximum pressure of 120 psi and a 15 -liter/minute flow. It has different ways with several default values and has a small screen with LED lighting that looks very good in the dark.
It comes with two types of hose, one longer and one shorter and includes a LED light in case you have to use it at night.
During the tests it seemed a very fast inflator (in less than two minutes the two wheels were inflated) and that is used very easily. On the screen the indicators are very clear and in case of having little light, they look great.
As for its battery, it has an autonomy of 4,000 mAh, but it gave me the feeling that it was downloaded faster than the first two models, especially at the times when I used it to inflate several wheels in a followed way.
Your weak points: The battery, although with good autonomy, is downloaded faster than the rest of the models.

Frequent questions about electric inflators
How many wheels can I inflate with a single load?
It depends on the model and battery capacity. For example, an inflator with 4,000 mAh battery can inflate between 20 and 40 bicycle wheels with a single load.
How long does a bicycle wheel take to inflate?
On average, 30 to 90 seconds, depending on the volume of the wheel and pressure.
What maximum pressure can reach?
They usually support up to 120–150 PSI although the model specifications must always be verified.
Can they be used with other objects (balls, car tires, etc.)?
Yes, most include nozzles or adapters for balls, motorcycles, car tires (small) and inflatable toys.
Can it be used while loading?
It is not recommended or sure to use it while loading, unless the manufacturer expressly indicates it.
Does it make a lot of noise when working?
Compact electric inflators usually generate between 65 and 80 dB, a moderate noise level, similar to that of a small vacuum.
