Josué Silva Lima, 56, was the victim of physical assault and attempted murder after arguing with a neighbor on Sunday night (13), in Travessa da Alegria, in Recanto dos Buritis neighborhood, region of the second district of Rio Branco.

According to police information, Joshua was consuming alcohol when he fell out with his neighbor. With the exalted spirits, the aggressor, armed with a slat, struck several blows against Joshua’s body. The victim was also hit by one stab in the head and another, deep, in the right forearm. After the criminal action, the suspect fled the scene.
Even wounded, Joshua managed to run, but fell on public roads. Family members called the Military Police and the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu). An advanced support ambulance was sent to the scene, provided first aid and referred the victim to the Rio Branco Emergency Room. Joshua’s health is stable.
Military police from the 2nd Battalion were at the crime scene and gathered information to try to locate the aggressor, who has not yet been found.

The Civil Police, through the Recent Employment Team (EPE), began investigations. The case is under the responsibility of the Homicide and Personnel Protection Police Station (DHPP).
