This week, FIFA even announced the opening of an office at Trump Tower headquarters in New York.
“We received tremendous support from the government and the president. We also received exceptional support from local authorities in New York, New Jersey and all host cities. This has contributed to the extraordinary success of the Club World Cup so far,” Infantine said on Friday.
At the end of the match, Trump descended to the stadium’s lawn next to the top hat and handed the medals and the trophy to Chelsea players.
