The government of the President (PT) should officialize this Monday (14.Jul.2025) the creation of an interministerial committee to coordinate actions against the 50% tariff imposed by the United States on Brazilian products.
The measure was discussed after one, between Lula, the Minister of Finance, the Minister of Institutional Relations, and the vice president and head of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Services, (PSB).
The group will be coordinated by Alckmin and will be attended by the farm, the Civil House and the Ministry of Institutional Relations. The objective is to formulate an institutional response to the tariff promoted by US President Donald Trump, who is expected to take effect on August 1.
