Light, crunchy yet finely spicy inside. Potato cutlets are a great idea for a fast dinner or a salty snack. In addition, they can be prepared without meat, so they will delight vegetarians and lovers of classics who like to experiment.
Potato cutlet, also known as aloo cutlet or Aloo tikkicomes from the Indian and Pakistani environment. But he found his way to the hearts of many European cuisines. It is a crispy pattency prepared from boiled potatoes and spices, which you can serve separately, in or even as part of vegetable salad. It is an excellent way to use the remaining potatoes or simply make the afternoon tea more pleasant.

1. Preparing the potato mixture: Peel the cooked potatoes and crush thoroughly. Add chopped chili, coriander, ginger-Czech paste and other spices. Mix everything well to create a compact mass. Add a little breadcrumbs as needed to keep the mixture better.

2. Shaping patties: Shape small cuttings from the mixture. They may be round or oval. If you stick to your hands, moisten your palms with water.
3. Preparation of the batter: Mix flour, starch, salt, pepper and water in the bowl. Create a smooth, medium thick batter.
4. Cover: Soak each cutlet in the batter and wrap it immediately in the breadcrumbs.
5. Frying: Heat the oil in the pan and fry the cuttings until golden from both sides. Then let them drip on a paper towel.
