Salzburg-The Salzburg public prosecutor has charged the IS returnee Maria G.. The woman who returned to Austria in March 2025 takes the crimes of the terrorist association and the criminal organization. The Salzburg native, converted into Islam in December 2013, participated in the terrorist organization “Islamic State” (IS) by deciding to go to Syria – inspired by IS propaganda films.
