Russia said on Sunday that its troops attacked Ukraine’s air defense system and destroyed two missile launchers Patriot.
Defensive weaponry is provided by USA and is designed to combat and destroy short range, advanced aircraft and cruise missiles.
According to the Russian ministry’s daily briefing, the army also took control of two settlements in the Donetsk region, while attacking Ukrainian defense industry, drone operator training centers and temporary implementation points.
The ministry specifically reported the elimination of Patriot missile launchers and a radar station. Russia also intercepted nine aerial bombs and 215 drones.

Moscow announced the attack on Ukrainian military and industrial facilities on Saturday (13), while Ukraine reported concentrated bombings towards Pokrovsk.
A happens amid attempts to negotiate for a ceasefire. United States President Donald Trump reiterated that he was disappointed with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
In an interview with NBC News, the American leader said he would do one about Moscow, but gave no more details.
