A former server of the Ministry of Justice’s Intelligence Secretariat, Clebson Ferreira, said in a statement to the Supreme Court (STF) on Monday (14) that he was guided by a Under-Secretary of the portfolio, during the Jair Bolsonaro (PL) government, to produce reports that established a correlation between votes in Lula and the performance of criminal factions.
The testimony was collected in the context of criminal actions that investigate three nuclei of the alleged coup plot of 2022, involving 23 defendants in total.
Ferreira reported that the request came from a Undersecretary of Intelligence of the Ministry of Justice. The orientation was to cross statistical data from elections with areas dominated by factions such as the Red Command in Rio de Janeiro, seeking alleged correlation with the vote received by Lula (PT).

“A request has come to try to see statistical analysis and correlation of the concentration of votes in the territories of the Red Command, to see if the candidate Lula had a higher concentration of votes in these areas,” said the server, according to the G1.
At another point in the testimony, Ferreira mentioned that the demand included the analysis of municipalities with more than 75% of the votes in Lula or Bolsonaro, aiming to locate electoral strongholds and identify inspection actions that could impact the vote.
Pressure in pro-lula
Ferreira also stated that, after the analysis of the electoral data, he noticed a more intense performance of the Federal Highway Police (PRF) in regions where Lula had a large advantage.

“When I filmed the data over 75%, there was a red sea of points in the Northeast and, in parallel, news came that people were prevented from voting because of congestion. I saw that a city of my state was going through it,” he said.
These statements dialogue with the suspicions raised in 2022 that the PRF would have acted selectively on the day of the vote, especially in the second round, with blocking and supervision actions in petist strongholds.
Cid provides new testimony
In addition to Clebson Ferreira, the STF listened on Monday Lieutenant Colonel Mauro Cid, who signed award-winning plea with the Federal Police. The objective is to deepen the findings on the articulation and execution of the coup plan investigated by the Court.
