Government Secretary of Justice Trump interrupted a surgeon trial that destroyed vaccines against Covid-19 and issued fake certificates in Utah

United States Secretary of Justice Pam Bondi ordered on Saturday (12.Jul.2025) the filing of the case against plastic surgeon Michael Kirk Moore Jr., accused of falsifying COVID-19 vaccination certificates.

The doctor faced accusations that could result in up to 35 years in prison for activities from 2021 to 2022. He was investigated for destroying vaccines valued at more than $ 28,000 (about $ 155,000) supplied by the federal government during the pandemic.

Bondi justified his decision in publication in X. “Dr. Moore gave his patients a choice when the federal government refused to do the same. He didn’t deserve years in prison. This ends today,” declared the secretary.

No details have been disclosed about possible additional investigations or if the case may be reopened in the future.

The measure represents a change in the position adopted during the Biden Administration, when the Justice Department indicated Moore in 2023. The judgment of the case had begun earlier this month, but was interrupted with the filing of all accusations.

Moore sold fake vaccination proof cards for $ 50 (approximately $ 277) each at her clinic located in Salt Lake City in Utah. The activities were held from May 2021 to September 2022.

Investigations indicated that the doctor applied physiological serum to children instead of covid-19 vaccines at the request of parents who wanted their children to believe they were receiving the immunizer.

Employees of the surgeon’s clinic were also accused of crimes as a conspiracy to defraud the government. All these accusations were also filed.

The DOJ (Department of Justice) under the government of President Donald Trump (Republican Party) has taken other similar actions. The folder seeks to reintegrate dispensed military personnel during the pandemic because they refuse vaccination. The department also dismissed employees involved in trump supporters who participated in the invasion of the Capitol on January 6, 2021.

Moore received support from the Trump government conservative wing and critics of pandemic policies implemented during the Biden administration.

Republican deputy Marjorie Taylor Greene celebrated the filing of the case. “We can never allow our government to become tyrannical under our vigilance,” stated in publication on X.
