According to the text, remission will be applied to properties that had at least 40% of the territorial area affected by climate events. The benefit is limited to up to five times the value of the Tax Unit of the Municipality of Rio Branco (UFMRB) of 2025. Properties not included in the official list may be analyzed by individual application with presentation of evidence such as technical reports, photos, geolocation and statements of the owners.

The deadline to file requests is up to 90 days from the publication of the law. The legislation also states that there will be no refund of amounts already paid and that the benefit may be revoked if any irregularity is found.
