Manchester City renewed its partnership with Puma in a long-term agreement, the club announced on Tuesday (15). British media reported that the deal is worth about 1 billion pounds ($ 1.35 billion; $ 7.5 billion), becoming the largest premier leg.
The new contract extends for at least another ten years, according to reports, valid a record of £ 100 million ($ 746.6 million) per year to the club. City had previously signed a fighter 65 million agreement (R $ 485.3 million) per year with the German sports equipment manufacturer in 2019.
The agreement is expected to establish a new parameter for uniform uniform contracts between English clubs, surpassing Manchester United’s ten-year contract with Adidas worth £ 900 million, signed by 2023.
City has been having an exceptional trajectory since 2020, winning four consecutive Premier League titles and ensuring the triple crown in season 2022/23. However, it did not win any important trophy last season.
City will start its campaign at the Premier League 2025/26 on August 16, with a visit to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
