Rumble’s lawyer, Martin de Luca, said that commentator Rodrigo Constantino’s account on the platform has not incites violence, “has been inactive since December 2023 and its content is strictly about music or political issues”, with criticism of Minister Alexandre de Moraes or the Supreme Court (STF). The statement was made in an interview with CNN Brazil on Monday, 14.
The lawyer’s demonstration occurs after, 11. In the document, the magistrate asked the platform to suspend, within 48 hours, the profile of Rodrigo Constantino.
De Luca defined the Order of Moraes as “a defensive movement” and a “trial”. For him, “the most reasonable interpretation is that this is the form of him (Alexandre de Moraes) to speak into protest to the measures that President Trump announced”, referring to the 50% surcharge imposed by the US President on Brazilian products.

In the document, the US president classified requests to remove content from online platforms issued by the Supreme Court as “secret and illegal censorship orders.”
“It caught a lot of attention, because this minister’s warrant comes two days after President Trump’s letter and because he has nothing to block in Brazil, considering that in his own order (Moraes) Rumble today is blocked in Brazil,” explained the platform representative.
Since February, Trump Media and Rumble has made action against Moraes for alleged violation of American sovereignty. On July 8 the STF minister was notified of the progress of the process in the American court.

The US judiciary should determine whether the minister’s methods appealed to request Rumble’s suspension of accounts and contents are legal.
