Sweet cornses are crunchy, slightly sour, but a note of sweets is definitely pierced in them. You can eat them both in the middle of summer and in winter, when we miss summer flavors so much. In the sweet version it can not be missing in your pantry.
I always make sweet coarse from ground, firm, small and narrow cucumbers. The most important thing is that they are not overripe. Otherwise they will soften in the mortar. I also do not recommend using large and bent vegetables, because it is difficult to accommodate them in a jar.
Before making a sweet dick, it is worth soaking the cucumbers in the water. Thanks to this, they will come out more crunchy.
What ingredients do we need to make sweet grunt. Here is the list:
- 2 kg of ground cucumbers;
- 1 l of water;
- 200 ml of vinegar 10 proc.;
- 200 g of white or cane sugar;
- 4 teaspoons of salt;
- 1 carrot;
- 1 onion;
- 5 granular pepper grains for a jar;
- 4 grains of allspice on a jar;
- 2 cloves of garlic on a jar;
- 2 bay leaves for a jar;
- 1 dill branch with a canopy for a jar;
- 1 teaspoon mustard per jar.
At the beginning, wash the cucumbers thoroughly, and peel the carrots and onions, then cut into slices. Then put these vegetables into jars together with granular pepper, allspice, garlic, bay leaves, dill and mustard.
In the next step, prepare the pickle: boil water, add vinegar, sugar and salt to it. Then pour the jars with it so as to completely cover the cucumbers.
Finally, turn off the dishes and pasteurize them for 5 minutes, from the moment the water boils. After this process, cool the jars and move sweet grunt. To the pantry or basement.
Sweet Cornisho tastes great as a party snack. They will be an ideal addition to the grill – they blend well with sausage or a tavern.
