The president’s political group has achieved the absolute majority of votes for the PT’s national directory and will expand its power over the party. The CNB (building a new Brazil), as Lula’s wing is known, was with the biggest strength within the subtitle, but had no absolute majority in the national directory of the acronym in recent years.

With an absolute majority, Lula’s political group will have to make fewer concessions to the PT minority forces, which generally have left -wing ideas than CNB.
