Zucchini This is an extremely universal vegetable, it works great for frying, baking and cooking. It is easily digestible, low -calorie, and in addition works in many recipes, dry and sweet. In the article below we will tell you How to make puff pastry with zucchini. Such a dish is an interesting idea for dinner, you can also prepare it for a family party, guests will definitely eat.
To prepare this recipe, you will need:
- 1 pack of puff pastry (about 300 g), preferably round,
- 1 zucchini,
- 150 g of goat’s cottage cheese,
- 150 ml of sweet cream (18 %),
- 2 eggs,
- 30 g of grated Parmesan cheese,
- 2 cloves of garlic,
- 1 teaspoon of basil,
- 1 teaspoon thyme,
- 1 teaspoon of sesame,
- 1 teaspoon of dry poppy seeds,
- Salt, pepper (to taste).
Slong lightly puff pastry (unless you use a round – then skip this step). Cut to the shape of the circle. Spread the cut edges on the dough and overcome the whole so that they stick with the wheel. Transfer the dough to a paper lined with paper with a diameter of 26 m. The dough should have a few centimeters of free edge. If there is no, roll them out harder. Put together with the form in the fridge.
Wash zucchini and cut into thin slices (preferably on mandolin). Further with salt. Put on a quarter of an hour.
Combine goat cheese with garlic cloves and herbs squeezed through the press. Mix with cream. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Separate egg protein from yolks. Proteins beat to a stiff foam. Gotted yolks (each separately). Mix one of the yolks into the foam.
Combine the foam with cottage cheese mass and transfer to a mold filled with dough. Arrange a layer of zucchini slices on top. Parmesan cheese.
Wrap the free edge of the dough inside. Brush it with a second yolk and sprinkle with sesame.
Insert in the oven preheated to 190 ° C. Bake for about half an hour.
