The countryman Felipe Alves, from the duo with Raphael, died at age 24, after falling from a truck bucket and hitting his head on the floor. The singer was hospitalized in serious condition at the Araguaína Regional Hospital in Tocantins, and could not resist his injuries, died on Monday (14).
The serious accident occurred the day before, also in Tocantins, and because of the impact he ended up suffering a brain edema – abnormal accumulation of liquid in brain tissue, causing an increase in brain volume. Despite the team’s efforts, Felipe could not resist.

The death was confirmed through a publication on the official profile of the duo “Felipe & Raphael” on Instagram. “Today the day did not dawn as we imagined… It was supposed to be another chapter of a beautiful project, full of dreams, courage and music. A project that was born of true friendship, watered with talent, faith and a lot of desire to win,” says an excerpt from the message.
“Today, with a heart in pieces, we share that our dear Felipe is no longer with us. He left… He left too early…”, lamented publication.
Friends since childhood, Felipe Alves and Raphael shared their passion for music, but only in 2024 did they officially joined as a duo. They prepared to release the first EP.
