In the last decade we have had a rise from the far right worldwide and they were efficient in creating a narrative they are against the system. They have always been political representatives of the economic power system, but have been presenting themselves as an antisystem and convincing many people. Until recently we were taking 7 to 1 on the networks. Now we are at a time when the left shows that it can face. I think we hit a tone and we have to move on it. The far right was very efficient. It created almost an abyss between the reality of the Lula administration and the opinion about the government. We have the best economic indices of recent times, effective achievements, but there is a different social perception.
Evangelicals
The left needs to resume in another term the debate with evangelicals. If it is from the agenda of diversity it will not work. The vast majority are black women from the peripheries of the country, which is the historical social base of the left. You need to dialogue from, for example, from other Christian values. What is more Christian: preaching weapon to everyone or having an anti -rise policy? Defend social equality and values such as solidarity or meritocratic individualism and each other? What we have not yet been able to bring is that there are also important points of divergence between the far right and Christian and evangelical values.
MERCADO
The financial market worldwide, not only in Brazil, seeks to force elected governments to invest less and less in social demands and reserve more and more resources to pay those of public debt. It is the logic of neoliberalism, of fiscal austerity.
There is a continuous blackmail movement of the market to try to take the government to take unpopular measures to get it weak next year.
