Deputy Pedro Paulo (PSD-RJ), rapporteur of the working group of the, presented to the mayor, Hugo Motta (Republicans-PB), the report with the main proposals of the project. Pedro Paulo pointed out that the proposal will still be discussed with party leaders and the executive branch to seek consensus before the official protocol, scheduled for August. He also intends to dialogue with the Senate to facilitate the processing of reform after approval in the House. The project is expected to advance the resumption of legislative work.

Pedro Paulo said that the reform will not move the stability of the servers and will not include fiscal adjustment measures, focusing mainly on improving public management and governance.
