The Brazilian men’s team of volleyball defeated Argentina in a valid match for the third week of the Volleyball League. The game took place at dawn on Wednesday (16), in Chiba, Japan, and was won 3-1 and partials of 25/21, 25/23, 24/26 and 25/18. Alan was the highest scorer of the selection in the duel, with 20 points.

Brazil returns to the courts on Friday (18), at 7:20 am, against Japan. In the table, the Brazilian male team occupies the first place, with 23 points in eight wins and only one defeat.
1º SET
The first partial began balanced, with only two withdrawals and the score tied 12-12. In the middle of the set, Brazil got three points in a row and opened 15-12. Even after time requested by Marcelo Mendez, the Brazilian team expanded the advantage to 20 to 15, taking advantage of the errors and counterattacks giving Argentina.
In the end, the Argentines reacted, touched the score on 21 to 19 and Bernardinho stopped the game. In return, Brazil resumed control of the match and closed the partial 25-21, after Judson, and opened 1 Sep 0.
2º SET
With Palonsky’s withdrawal, the Argentine national team dominated the start of the set and opened 7-3. With the disadvantage, Bernardinho asked for time and reorganized the Brazilian team. After the stop, Brazil managed to shorten the score at 10 to 8 at the first moment, but the Argentines had four points of advantage, 12 to 8.
However, overwhelmingly, Brazil drew 12 to 12, highlighting Judson’s withdrawal, with two aces. Following, Argentina recovered and expanded and opened 15-13, but the Brazilian team reacted once again and got the turn 20-19 after Darlan’s blockade. In the final stretch, Brazil broke the Argentine withdrawal and managed to close the partial at 25 to 23 and open 2 sets at 0, after Palonsky’s error in the service.
3º SET
The third partial began with slight superiority from Brazil, which opened 9-7 after Honorato explored Argentina’s blockade. However, Argentina recovers with Kukartsev inspired to turn at 14 to 13, but the Brazilian team returned the breach of withdrawal and resumed the lead in 18 to 17.
In the final moments, Argentina stood out at the end. With Koukartsev shining in the blockade, the Argentines saved a set point and turned to close the partial by 26 to 24 and decrease by 2 sets to 1.

Argentina started higher and opened 6-3, but with Honorato and Alan, Brazil drew 7-7, with a lot of complaint from the Argentines with the refereeing, who missed Marcelo Mendez’s request for challenge. Following, the Brazilian team turned and expanded by 13 to 9, with strong block and attack errors of the “hermanos”.
During the partial, Brazil maintained the advantage won and, after Honorato, closed 25-18 and won the match by 3 sets to 1.
