Cruz-Maltino suffers new defeat and is practically eliminated in South American
Unlike Filipe Luís, who fired on striker Pedro, Fernando Diniz chose not to criticize Vasco’s leaders after another defeat of Vasco. Asked about the promise of reinforcements, the coach said he will not make a witch fighter.
– There is no witch hunt. Vasco has its financial limitations, in which I knew this. There was a planning, but to hire it is difficult. We have no money to hire. We have no financial conditions to do. It’s expensive. We managed to bring Thaigo Mendes. We need to bring few players, but players we believe will work, ”said Diniz.
Vasco returns to the field on Saturday (15), when they will face Grêmio at 5:30 pm, for the 14th round of Brasileirão. This will be the first match of Cruz-Maltino, in São Januário, on the return of the Club World Cup.
