The European Environment Agency indicated that over 92 percent European inhabitants have a BPA dose in the body exceeding the adopted standards. This compound penetrates into food due to heat, which is why in plastic packaging it should not stick to, for example, tea, but heat is also performed during fermentation, and this leads to the gradual release of BPA to cucumbers. And after eating them, this harmful relationship goes to the body. It may negatively affect the endocrine, digestive and thyroid system.

Which is why Pickling gardens in plastic buckets or jars is inadvisable – Such containers are suitable for storing dry products, they should not be used during the pickling process.
