PL members say that the federal deputy (SP) is “out of control” at his crusade against the governor of São Paulo, Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicans), because of Donald Trump’s tariff. According to a party member, he has not heard anyone, not even his father, the former president (PL).
The interpretation is that Eduardo is obsessed with the project of being a candidate for president in 2026, and therefore abruptly rose his tone against Tarcisio, seen as a potential adversary.
He has refused to take appeals into consideration to expect a better opportunity to seek the presidency, since, at 41, he is still young.
According to a party leader, Eduardo is “doing everything from his head”, without coordination with allies. Erratic movement has caused embarrassment even in your family. One of the bothered is the Senator (PL-RJ),
