Quaest survey released this Wednesday (16.Jul.2025) indicates that disapproval to the government of (PT) fell 4 pp: from 57% in June to 53%.

Quaest’s survey was commissioned by the great investment. 2,004 people were interviewed 16 or older throughout Brazil, from July 10 to 14. The margin of error is 2 pp, more or less. The confidence level is 95%.

According to Nunes, 3 factors explain the improvement in the population’s perception of the government. They are:

  • confrontation between Lula and US President Donald Trump;
  • improvement in economic perception;
  • campaign “us against them”Promoted by the government.

Most (79%) say they believe that the 50% tariff imposed by the US on Brazilian products will harm its lives. Already 72% consider that Trump made a mistake by imposing the rate on Brazil under the justification that there would be persecution of the former president (PL).
