Poland was dismissed by the Ambassador from Hungary after diplomatic tensions. The Hungarian State Secretary described the situation as unprecedented, but hopes for another dialogue.
Poland definitely dismissed its ambassador from Hungary, which also officially devalued the level of bilateral diplomatic relations. This was announced on Wednesday on Facebook by State Secretary of the Hungarian Ministry of Diplomacy Levente Magyar, reports TASR newsletter in Budapest.
“The gradual deterioration of political relations has led to this regrettable step, which is unprecedented in the history of relations with our Central European partners. Śladewski.
“Despite current political disputes, we are ready to maintain dialogue and prepare for good times that will come in the alliance of our countries,” the Secretary of State wrote.
In this context, the server nepszava.hu recalls that in December 2024 Poland referred to an indefinitely Polish ambassador from Budapest after it turned out that the orban government has been awarded by the political asylum Marcin Romanowski, former Deputy Deputy Polish Minister of Justice. The Polish Ambassador in Budapest since 2022 was Sebastian Kęciek.
