CEO of the largest US chip manufacturer says that Chinese companies are “a catalyst for progress”
Nvidia’s president and co-founder Jensen Huang praised this Wednesday (16, Jul.2025) the AI (Artificial Intelligence) models manufactured in China. The CEO of the American chips made that the Chinese companies were successful in integrating artificial intelligence in their enterprises, which made them companies “World Class”.
Huang participated for the first time in CISCE (Acronym for International Exhibition of China’s Supply Chain) in Beijing. The executive said that the progress of artificial intelligence models will be the future of the global industry and that China acts as a “Progress catalyst” When advancing the open source AI models-in that the source code is available for free to anyone.
“China’s open source artificial intelligence is a catalyst for global progress, giving all countries and industries the opportunity to join the artificial intelligence revolution.”Huang said in a speech at CISCE (acronym for International China Supply Chain Exhibition) in Beijing.
Born in Taiwan and based in the United States since he was a young age, Huang participated in Cisce for the first time. Nvidia has business with several Chinese technology companies, but has been taken on the tangle of US -raised commercial barriers against China.
Nvidia was only authorized in China on Monday (14.Jul). The decision reverses this year, which cost the company’s dollars.
The release of the restriction came after a Huang meeting with President Donald Trump (Republican). At the meeting, the executive argued that Nvidia should continue to do business with China to enjoy the local talent in IA.
The CEO also argued that allowing the company’s global sales would strengthen the US position to master the AI market against competitors such as Huawei.
