The Government has just published on Wednesday the breakdown of the new 36,600 places of the Public Employment Offer of 2025, approved yesterday in the Council of Ministers. You can read the detail on position.
Of the 36,588 places of the new offer, 26,889 correspond to the General State Administration (AGE), 3,713 to the Civil Guard, 339 to the National Police Corps and 2,847 to the Armed Forces.
Of those almost 27,000 places in the AGE, 20,324 are free access and 6,565 are internal promotion. With that cast, the Ministry of Public Function estimates a net creation of 5,400 jobs from this AGE offer. That is, when taking into account the flow of casualties by retirement and tickets thanks to this offer, the balance is at a gain of 5,400 jobs.

“The offer of public employment, as an act by which the troops are defined and quantified based on the needs of the ministerial departments and public policies of the government, is one of the most relevant transformation instruments, because it orders the entries in the system and defines the professional profiles of the administration of the future, with consequences in a whole generation of public employees and employees,” says the Executive in the text published in the text published in the BOE.

After four years of consecutive increases, the offer approved on Tuesday by the Council of Ministers, of 36,588 places, represents a drop of 8.8% compared to 40,121 last year.
