In an interview with CNNFormer President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) denied that he has “personal interest” to himself in an amnesty to those convicted of attacks against the headquarters of the three powers on January 8, 2023.
“What personal interest is my amnesty? I was in Brazil on January 8? Is it right to put me on January 8, when I was in the United States?” CNN Arena.
Bolsonaro is a defendant in the Supreme Court (STF) for involvement in what would be a coup plan against the result of the 2022 election.
In the request for condemnation of the former Mandanker, the Attorney General’s Office (PGR) points to the former president’s speech against the electoral system as driver of January 8 attacks ,.
