A Uber expanded the senior accountintended for the elderly and their families, for all users in Brazil. The sport had already been made available in early June in Belo Horizonte, Porto Alegre and Fortaleza.
The feature – which includes text and larger icons, less buttons and fewer screens – can be found in the Family profile of the Uber application.
The goal is to make the process of asking for a trip more directly and intuitively for the user.
The tool within the app allows the family profile organizer to help request travel, manage payments and receive real -time travel updates to someone else in the senior account.
And it is not necessary for the User of the Senior Account More in the same city as the others as the family profile.
Step by Step to configure the Senior Account
The invitation for the creation of the Senior Account must be made through the family profile.
If the user who wants to invite to the senior account is an older family member, such as parents or grandparents, and still do not have a family profile, he must perform the instructions below:
- Open the Uber app, go to the Menu and select the option Settings;
- Roll the screen to the option Configure your family profile and select this option;
- A message will appear on functionality. Click on Continue. Then select Invite familiar. You can then select the members you want to invite from your contacts.
It is only possible to invite one user at a time. To send another invitation, it is necessary that the previous family member has accepted the request sent by notification or SMS.
The guest person will receive a link to download the Uber app and configure your profile. After that, she can already ask for trips on her own or, if she prefer, count on the help of those who invited her, who can still follow the trip in the application in real time.
Family members and caregivers can intervene when I need it, whether asking for their own mobile phone on behalf of the Senior Account user, saving favorite addresses – such as home, doctor’s office and market – defining a shared payment method or even calling the partner driver at any time during the trip.
