Classes at the Maria Nascimento Giacomazzi School, in Estação, Rio Grande do Sul, returned this Thursday (17). The place had been closed since July 8, when a 16 -year -old did a Knife attack that left a dead boy and two other people injured.
In a statement on social networks, the city reported that “everything was organized and planned with great responsibility, affection and dedication to make this return light and quiet.”
The city also said that the school team had “various training” and that the return will first happen with the welcome to the children. “The week will be dedicated to light activities, with games, stories and emotional support with psychologists in schools.”
In addition, safety in schools has been reinforced, according to the statement. Among the actions are the “support of BS PREVESUL and monitoring company; interphones and panic button; presence of proerd police; controlled entry with appointment and identification”.

A 16 -year -old teenager on the morning of the 8th of this month.
According to information from the Military Brigade, the young man was known to teachers and teams working at school and arrived at the scene stating that he would deliver a resume. After entering, he asked to go to the bathroom and broke into a third year of elementary school, where he attacked the children.
Vitor André Kungel Gambirazi, 9, died. In addition, an 8 -year -old girl and a 34 -year -old teacher were injured. The child had to undergo surgery. The two have already been discharged.
The teenager would have until it is seized by the Military Brigade.
The Court of Rio Grande do Sul ordered the provisional hospitalization of the adolescent, which lasts 45 days, as established by the ECA (Statute of the Child and Adolescent).
In addition, the MPRS (Rio Grande do Sul Public Prosecution Service) has asked the court to be held responsible for infringing acts analogous to homicide crimes and attempted murder.
