EA Sports released on Wednesday (16/07) the first official information of EA Sports FC 26new edition of the consecrated virtual football franchise that had a name Fifa until 2023.
The announcement came accompanied by the first trailer with unpublished scenes of gameplay and news about covers, prices, release date and the possible presence of Brazilian clubs.

Official trailer with Zlatan Ibrahimović and Champions League featured
The video released highlights matches from UEFA Champions League, one of the game’s licensed competitions, as well as testimonials from fans and players. EA promises to use this return from the community to improve the controls and experience of the game.
Zlatan Ibrahimović is one of the great protagonists of the promotional material and will be the face of Ultimate Edition of the game. In the image, the Swedish appears lying in a bed reading a book with the cover “R9”, in reference to Ronaldo Phenomenon. The scenario includes a Paris Saint-Germain shirt, medals and even a screen with the menu of Ultimate Teambesides recreating an iconic photo of the former player’s youth.
Bellingham and Musiala are the faces of the standard edition
In the default version, the Jude Bellingham (Real Madrid) and Jamal Musiala (Bayern Munich) socks divide the lead protagonism. Art shows the two athletes preparing for a UEFA Champions League match.

EA Sports FC 26: Will Brazilian clubs be in the game?
Despite the rumors in social networks and the negotiations in progress, The presence of Brazilian clubs with licensed players has not yet been officially confirmed. This will be the Third edition of the franchise since the change of name. The title is no longer called FIFA after the break between EA and the maximum football entity in 2022. Even with the name change, the series maintained important licenses and remains a leader in the sports games segment.
