A one -year and eight -month prison sentence, without deprivation of his political rights, imposed a court on the prisoner of Constantinople, regarding his statements against the head of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the area. March 19th and is not directly linked to them.
The prosecutor’s prosecution against Ekrem Imamoglu on this case was ordered on January 20th for his statements in an interview with a television broadcast on the head of the Istanbul Public Prosecutor’s Office, Akin Gurlek, and his family. The role of Akin Gurlek
Akin Gurlek, 43, as a judge initially and the prosecutor afterwards, played an important role in large trials involving persecution against opposition officials, including the conviction of the Curriculum of the Peoples of the People’s Justice (HDP). In the past he had been paying deputy minister of justice.

At a rally of the CHP in Constantinople’s Gazipanoupolis district on June 4, the leader of the opposition made harsh statements against the head of the General Prosecutor’s Office of Constantinople Akin Gurlek’s arrest of the Church Constantinople, Ekrem Imamoglou. Chp leader Ozgur Ozel had described Akin Gurlex in the past “gullotina”.
