Four sheep and goats killed: Vorarlberg releases Wolf for shooting

Bregenz – The district administrative teams Bludenz and Feldkirch have released a wolf for shooting. At the weekend, several farm animals had been torn in the communities of St. Gerold and Thuringia (both districts of Bludenz), the traces left to a wolf were torn as a perpetrator. The measures of the district administrative teams apply in 53 hunting areas and until the end of September. The shooting decision is based on the country’s Wolf Management Ordinance, it said.
