The movie “Tron: Ares”starring Jared Letowon a new trailer this Thursday (17). The film is the third movie in the saga started by Disney in the 1980s, with “Tron – an Electronic Odyssey,” starring Jeff Bridges.
Follows a highly sophisticated program, Ares, sent from the digital world to the real world on a dangerous mission, marking the first meeting of humanity with AI beings. The film is directed by Joachim Rønning (“Malévola”) and starring, Greta Lee, Evan Peters, Hasan Meaj, Jodie Turner-Smith, Arturo Castro, Cameron Monaghan, with Gillian Anderson and Jeff Bridges, who returns as Kevin.
Grammy -winning rock band Nine Inch Nails composed the title’s soundtrack and, on Thursday (17), the band released “As Alive As You Need Me To Be” – the first single of the soundtrack and the band’s first official song in five years. The full trail will be launched on September 19th.
The franchise’s second movie, “Tron: The Legacy”, was released in 2010 and featured names such as: Olivia Wilde (“Don’t worry, dear”), Garrett Hedlund (“Troia”) and Jeff Bridges (“Iron Man”) – which was also present in the first movie of the trilogy. Titled as “Tron – an Electronic Odyssey,” the feature film hit theaters in 1982 with Bruce Boxleitner (“Babylon 5”) and Cindy Morgan (“Pilantras Club”).
