Vienna – The Chamber of Labor received around 653 million euros in contributions from around four million members in the previous year. That is 7.4 percent more than in the previous year (608 million). The reason for this is primarily the increased wages and salaries, as AK director Silvia Hruska-Frank explained when presenting the AK financial report. Around half of the contributions were spent on personnel. This was able to carry out 2.4 million consultations, said Hruska-Frank.
