Licensed federal deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-SP) reacted on Friday (18) to the operation of the Federal Police he imposed (PL), calling Minister Alexandre de Moraes the “Gangster de Toga” and declaring himself “federal deputy in exile”.
The statement was published in a note on social networks, in which Eduardo defends his father and accuses the Federal Supreme Court (STF) of political persecution and diplomatic sabotage.
The demonstration occurs on the same day that the Supreme Court authorized, at the request of the PF with the approval of the Attorney General’s Office (PGR), search and seizure warrants against the former president, as well as the imposition of electronic anklet, night home collection and prohibition of contacts with ambassadors.

The decision is based on evidence that Bolsonaro acted coordinated with Eduardo to articulate US sanctions against Brazilian authorities, in an attempt to embarrass the Supreme Court and wag the trial of the criminal action that accuses him of trying a coup d’état.

Eduardo still accuses Moraes of “irresponsibly deteriorating” diplomatic relations between Brazil and the United States and says that his performance represents an “institutional sabotage of unpredictable consequences”.
