Eliza Samudio’s mother announced, this Thursday (17), that received from the court some belongings from the daughter 15 After the young woman’s murder.
In a social media publication, Sonia Fátima Moura vented about the moment she received the objects – A pair of shoes, sunglasses and a burnt photograph. “After 15 years of waiting, hoping to find its remains, what returned me are these objects of Eliza,” he wrote. “Having these objects in my hands is as if time has not passed. Pain continues, it is so intense, so raw.”
Eliza’s body was never located. In January 2013, the Counting Jury Court (MG) issued the death certificate of the young woman, who was 25 years old at the time of the crime.
Sonia stated that she clearly keeps her daughter’s memories and that the objects delivered represent more than simple memories: “These objects are like a piece of yours, a piece of me. It’s hard to believe that you were gone so long, and in such a cruel and cowardly way. ”
Remember the case
It disappeared on June 4, 2010, when it communicated to friends that it would make a trip. Since then, it has never been seen again. At 25, she was considered dead after suspects assumed the murder.
Eliza’s case began between the end of 2008 and early 2009, when the actress met Bruno Fernandes de Souza, known as “Goalkeeper Bruno”, in Rio de Janeiro. He was a professional soccer player and lived the height of his career, acting as a starter of Flamengo.
Relationship, disappearance and confessions
Bruno and Eliza had one. The goalkeeper was engaged at the time and kept, according to witnesses, more than one relationship at the same time. The actress became pregnant with the goalkeeper and made public the pregnancy and paternity of Bruno in 2009. The versions have never been fully proven as the police were never able to find the actress’s remains.
The widely publicized story presents the crime as a plot planned by the former goalkeeper. He was sentenced to 20 years in prison for the crime, although he had never confessed that he premeditated the death of Eliza Samudio.
