According to the portal information, Berlin is preparing for possible war scenarios. Local hospitals, city management and German army together created a new civil protection plan, which also envisages the possibility of a military conflict in the German metropolis. The reason is the growing concerns caused by Russian aggression against Ukraine, which, according to Berlin Senator for Health Health Senator, other Czyborra, showed that the threat of war is more realistic today than before 2022.
The civil protection plan includes procedures to ensure the functioning of hospitals, supply energy and medicines, as well as evacuation of the population in an emergency. Strengthening of Germany’s defense
According to the head of the company of Berlin hospitals Marc Schreiner, hospitals are ready for crisis situations, but the new plan revealed the need for further improvements.
