Pearl couscous is a type of pasta of durum wheat, which is still not known in Poland as well as its small change. However, it is definitely worth including it in the diet, because in terms of the content of nutrients it exceeds other products of this type. It is a good source of fiber, vegetable protein, and at the same time has a relatively low glycemic index. His slightly nutty taste makes it a very interesting base for salads or single -pot dishes. Find out about this by preparing a tasty salad with pearl couscous, chickpeas, feta checkered and dried tomatoes.
Ingredients:
- 200 g of pearl couscous,
- canopy of chickpeas (400 g),
- 8 dried tomatoes,
- 100 g Sera Feta,
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil,
- a spoon of lemon juice,
- 2 cloves of garlic,
- 1/2 teaspoon of chili petals,
- salt and pepper (to taste),
- a handful of fresh mint leaves,
- Several cups of chives.
Method of performance:
Cook pearl couscous according to the instructions on the packaging.
Strain the chickpeas from the pickle and rinse with water on a colander. Dry.
Cut into small pieces dried tomatoes. Crush feta cheese. Crush the mint leaves. Chop the chives.
Prepare dressing for salad. Combine olive oil with lemon juice, garlic and chili flakes squeezed by Prague.
Combine all the ingredients of the salad in a bowl. Mix Pour dressing, season with salt and pepper, sprinkle with mint leaves and chopped chives. A pearl couscous salad does not have to “bite”. Give her right away.
