World in Progress (WIP), organized by the Prisa Group and its headwaters, the country and the SER chain, has constituted an advisory council in charge of guiding and guiding the definition of the contents and selecting the speakers of the forum, consolidating it as a global reference space. It is made up of several first -order international leaders, experts in international relations, security, diplomacy and economy, which will contribute to WIP to continue to be a catalyst for the transforming power of ideas.
The organ is made up of Dominican -American lawyer, lawyer, former United States ex -embassy in Spain and Andorra and former head of the former American First Lady Jill Biden; , former president of Colombia between 2010 and 2018 awarded the in 2016 for his leadership in the peace process with the FARC; , former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Spain, former president of the European Parliament and former high representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy; and, economist, member of the Board of Directors of Pampa Energía and Americas Society and Marathon Asset Management in New York.
Reynoso, Santos, Borrell and Szpigiel will guide for the first time the content and participants of the forum in its second edition of Barcelona, which will be held in a global context marked by uncertainty and geopolitical, economic and social transformations. Under the motto “Global dialogue and reflection in a world in transformation”, the Forum will bring together international political, business and academic leaders and other outstanding representatives of civil society to discuss global governance, sustainability, inclusion, digital economy and other great challenges of the 21st century.
After, WIP has expanded its international projection with the celebration of the International Economic Forum of Latin America and the Caribbean 2025 in Panama and with a new edition, which took place. With these appointments, WIP continues to expand its scope as a platform for strategic thinking and international cooperation.
