Lawyer Jeffrey Chiquini, who advocates the trial of the alleged scammer plot in the Supreme Court, says it was “wonderful” to have had the word revoked by Minister Alexandre de Moraes in session on Wednesday (16).
“I thought it was wonderful for him to have done this because he exposed the bowels of the process to Brazil. [Moraes] Don’t want the truth, just make a scene game, “he said.
Chiquini was, who was the commander of the Institutional Security Office of the Presidency of the Republic on January 8, 2023, when there were attacks on the Planalto Palace.
According to him, the interruption occurred because days “was opening his beak and dismantling the farce of January 8”.
For the lawyer, his attitude of confronting Moraes in the testimony will encourage other defenders of accused in the case to have a similar attitude.
“I think now the law is encouraging. Lawyers are getting up,” he said, who says he has called the Brazilian Bar Association about what he considers a violation of his professional prerogatives. “I don’t want Alexandre to back, I want it to respect law,” he says.
The main accusation against Martins is to have provided AA called the “Draft of the Splay”, which the former advisor denies.
