Austria’s Foreign Minister Beate Meinl-Reisinger (NEOS) will travel to the USA in the middle of next week to meet in Washington with her counterpart, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio. The meeting should be about global fields of conflict such as Ukraine and Gaza. Already on her Middle East trip at the end of June, Meinl-Reisinger had tried to draw attention to the humanitarian “unacceptable situation” in the coastal strip of Gaza and to find alternatives to de facto dysfunctional distribution of relief goods.
