New manual launched in Rio Branco will standardize and streamline

A new solution will make the processes of bidding and hiring goods, services and works more efficient and faster in all the Rio Branco secretariats, with the launch last Thursday (17) of the Bidding Manual by the City Hall.

Prepared by the server Fabiano Lira and instituted through a decree signed by Mayor Tião Bocalom, the initiative becomes the official instrument to be followed by all bodies, according to the management.

During the presentation of the document, Mayor Tião Bocalom highlighted the importance of the measure to ensure greater efficiency and transparency in the use of public resources.

“What we have sought to do in our management is to update all our work. We have already joined the new bidding law since the end of 2023, and now we have this manual that will serve as a headboard for all the secretariats that make hiring – said Bocalom. – Our goal is to spend well -public money, avoiding more works and services to our population,” said the manager.

Fabiano, stressed the challenge of preparing a technical and affordable document, and explained the central objectives of the work.

“Bidding is considered the main bottleneck of public administration for its complexity and the delays it can cause. With this manual, we offer a clear step in step, which shows that it is possible to make bids simply, efficiently and within legality,” he explained.

The material brings detailed guidelines on all documents, steps and care that public agencies should follow in hiring processes, which promises to streamline internal procedures and reduce bureaucracy.

Also according to the City Hall, the manual will be distributed to all secretariats and bodies of the municipal administration and will serve as an official guide for public purchasing processes in Rio Branco. The initiative is expected to contribute to making management more agile, transparent and efficient, directly benefiting the population.
