The Portuguese drone ET15 is the latest national promise to save lives in emergency and war scenarios. It is able to operate in limited access zones, in urban or catastrophe context.
With the purpose of saveguarantee urgent medical response and ensure humanitarian aid in extreme scenarios, was born the new Portuguese drone, developed by Portuguese startup Eliot.
This low -cost air logistics solution was conceived to operate in limited access zones, in an urban or catastrophe context.
As the company born in a statement sent to Zap, the drone is especially Addressed for emergency medical missions, national defense and response to humanitarian crises in war zones.
Fully electric and autonomous, the ET15 is prepared to transport up to 15 kg critical load, such as blood, tissues, medications or organs for transplantation, traveling up to 100 km with full reliability and accuracy.
As the statement details, in order to successfully fulfill its mission goals, this drone combined the characteristics of a fixed wing aircraft, with the VTOL abilities of a rotary wing aircraft, taking advantage of these two settings and expanding its operational window.
Its compact and light design, coupled with the embedded technology, allows you to operate in a fast, safe and silentguaranteeing deliveries in a few minutes, even in Territories that are difficult to access.
Saves lives in emergency and war scenarios
The solution also responds to operational needs of the Air force Portuguese, Civil Protection and NGOscan be mobilized in minutes to respond to critical contexts, such as bombarded zones, isolated enclaves or campaign hospitals.

ET15 was developed in collaboration with Rangel Logistics Solutions, Eliot’s strategic partner; and incorporates advanced navigation sensors, real -time georeferencing, sensitive load transport compartments and redundant safety systems.
