Police detained at the Ubľa border crossing in the district of Snina 20-year-old citizen of Ukraine, who proved to be a false driving license. The patrol noticed a passenger car in the stopping zone. Two men at the car called on the submission of documents. As TASR informed the spokeswoman of the Regional Directorate of the Police Force in Prešov Jana Ligdayová, the incident took place on Wednesday (16 July) in the afternoon.
“After lustration in records, after subsequent inspection through technical equipment and relevant information databases, as well as professional-technical examinations at the Department of Travel Document Analysis, it was found that it was found that Driving license of the Ukrainian Republic issued in the name of a 20-year-old Ukrainian is fake,“The spokeswoman added.
Police accused a man of the crime of falsification and amendments to the authentic instrument, the official seal, the official closure, the official feature and the official brand.
