“Agreement of the will” was signed in Constantinople between the Business Council of Libya, which belongs to the Turkish International Economic Relations Council (Deik) and the “National Mining Society of Libya”, its “Exhibition and Conferences Authority” and “Emaar Libya Holding” of mining and infrastructure.

According to the Turkish News Agency Anadolu, the agreement was signed by Murtaza Karanfil, President of Deik, and Fuud al -Awam, chief executive of Emaar Libya Holding.

The President of the Deik said the new agreement with Libya would deepen cooperation in the region, adding that the aim is to develop relations, especially with the eastern part of the country. He made a special reference to the rich mineral deposits discovered in southern Libya in recent years.

“We have asked us to submit maps to the mines that are mainly in the southern part of the country and to inform us of cases of priority for investment and cooperation. In return, our goal is to get the Turkish mining industry with eastern Libya, organizing, if necessary, B2B meetings with our companies, “said Murtaza Karanfil. He pointed out that the southern part of Libya has significant mineral reserves that attract the interest of many countries.

For his part, Emaar CEO Libya Holding Fuad al -Awam said: “Turkey is a very strong country in the field of economy and energy. We, as Emaar Holding, will sign agreements with Turkey in these areas. At the same time, we continue our efforts to transport the Turkish market to Libya, the creation of a permanent market for Turkish products and the distribution of products. “
