A serious traffic accident left injured Giliard da Silva Martins, 43, and his 9-year-old daughter, early Friday night (18), in the Jewish branch, in front of the Grocery and Distribuidora Magnata, in the Belo Jardim I neighborhood, according to Rio Branco district.

According to witness reports, father and daughter followed in a red Honda CB 300 Twister motorcycle and Qzz-9H29 license plate in the center-centered direction, when they were surprised by a white Corsa Classic model car that invaded the opposite and collided head-on with the motorcycle. The driver of the vehicle, which was driving in the opposite direction, fled the scene without helping the victims.
With the impact of the crash, the two occupants of the motorcycle were thrown and fell in front of the trade. Giliard suffered fractures on his left leg and arm, while his daughter also had serious injuries in the same regions of the body.
Teams from the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) were called and sent two ambulances – one basic support and one of advanced support. After the first calls, the victims were taken to the Rio Branco Emergency Room. Despite the severity of the injuries, both were conscious and in a state of health considered stable.

Military police from the Traffic Battalion (BPTran) cordoned off the area for the work of technical expertise. After removal of the motorcycle, the flow of vehicles was restored in the extension.
