More than 100 teenagers who fulfill socio-educational functions in five states participated between Tuesday (15) and Friday (18) in São Paulo of a FUT7 tournament, a modality of seven players. The event was promoted by the Casa Foundation, linked to the state government.
The final of the competition was attended by former goalkeeper Spider, who played in teams such as Santos, Palmeiras and Atlético-MG. The Youth Championship of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Paraná, Mato Grosso and Roraima participated in the Championship.
The winner was Casa Juquiá, the Foundation’s Socio -Educational Center in São Paulo.
The award ceremony was attended by the Executive Secretary of Justice and Citizenship of the State of São Paulo, Raul Christiano, and the president of the Casa Foundation, Claudia Carletto.
During the event, Aranha shared his history with young people, emphasizing the importance of sport as a tool for transformation and social inclusion. He also took rapper Pê Mc, who spoke about his experience.
“More than forming champions on the pitch, our biggest goal is to contribute to the formation of citizens outside it,” said the president of the Casa Foundation.
